Jen Cunningham is a jewellery designer from the west coast of Scotland.
She is currently based in Edinburgh where she spends every free minute in her workshop. She takes commissions for jewellery, you can have a look in the jewellery section to get an idea of what it is she can do. Just drop her an e-mail if you have any ideas or if you'd like to meet up to discuss a commission.
Jen’s jewellery is greatly influenced by the coastlines and landscapes of Ayrshire where she grew up. The Clyde Estuary, a stone’s throw away from her front door, means that the Isles of Arran and ‘Wee’ Cumbrae became a backdrop to her life. Jen’s love of landscapes and the colourful west coast sunsets has been captured and transformed to create interesting, delicate, yet bold statements of jewellery.
Her work uses silver, resin, transparent photographs and the occasional flash of gold. Resin allows for images and text to be set in necklaces and brooches, this means colours are vibrant and perfectly capture the famous sunsets. Text adds a personal element to the piece.
